Carla Cutino
email: ccutino@sienaheights.edu

Joining the Saints’ staff this fall is a familiar face – assistant coach Carla Cutino. Cutino returns to help the Saints’ coaching staff after an exceptional, if often times, unheralded four year career.
Cutino served as a captain for the Saints in each of the past two seasons. A defender for most of her career, Cutino was always counted on for her steady and solid play. She helped the Saints to a stellar 0.67 goals against average over the past three seasons while manning a defensive wing.
In 2008, the sophomore Cutino transitioned from an offensive midfield wing – where she scored three goals and added five assist – to the back line where she remained for the rest of her collegiate career.
In 2009, Cutino was honored as an All-WHAC Second Team performer. She was a key cog in the defense that allowed eight goals throughout the season and only two goals in conference play.
In 2010, Cutino’s final season was cut short due to an injury, but she was still honored by the WHAC on the Champions of Character team. She graduated in May with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and is currently working towards her master’s degree in Organizational Leadership.
