Donnellon Sets Decathlon Discus National Record

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Siena Heights decathlete Nathan Donnellon (Ypsilanti, Mich.) recently set the junior national record for the decathlon discus at the 2012 USA Junior Championships, which were held at Indiana University.

Donnellon fired the discus a distance of 162 feet, 10 inches (49.64 meters) and earned 863 points in the event. He finished 12th of 26 in the decathlon, finishing with 6,462 points.
