Heldmeyer Top Returner for SHU Women's Cross Country

ADRIAN, Mich. – Former national qualifier Beth Heldmeyer (Plymouth, Mich.), now a senior, will lead the Siena Heights women’s cross country team back into the fray when the Saints open their season at Adrian’s Bulldog Invitational on Saturday.

Senior Morgan Choszczyk (Webberville, Mich./Webberville) and juniors Katelyn Boulton (Monroe, Mich./Ida), Melanie Glinski (Adrian, Mich./Sand Creek) and Carrie Zubke (Adrian, Mich./Madison) will also be featured in SHU’s lineup this season.

“We’ll look for Beth to lead and challenge for the individual championship,” SHU coach Tim Bauer said. “We’ve had a few setbacks early in the season, but our goal is come out and battle. We can battle for the Top 3 in the WHAC (Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.”
