Members of the Siena Heights community,
As you may have noticed, the Siena Heights Sports Network received a major overhaul prior to the 2012-13 school year as we forged a relationship with Stretch Internet. If you haven't seen the new SHSN portal, click HERE. An event schedule, although not entirely complete, is being developed. You can also turn to the on-demand feature if you were unable to watch a game live.
Since beginning the fall season, we've webcast Football's exciting 26-19 double-overtime win against Robert Morris, Women's Soccer's 6-0 victory over Purdue Calumet and Men's Soccer's 4-1 triumph versus Goshen.
With the exception of a season-opening doubleheader, which SHSN did not cover, the Saints' women's volleyball team doesn't have too many early-season home matches, so those looking to catch a match on SHSN from the SHU Fieldhouse will have to wait until Friday, Sept. 21, when SHU takes on Concordia at 7 p.m.
In the event of simultaneous home events, the SHU Sports Information Department will cover one event on SHSN and provide live statistics for the other event at this LINK. While we advertise our live video and statistics on the SHUSAINTS.COM front page, the best way to access live coverage for any event is through the Live Coverage link on each Schedule/Results page. There, you will be able to access live stats, audio or video if a Saints' team is on the road and the host school provides those services.
Also, SHSN and local radio station WLEN, 103.9 FM, has reached a partnership for the Siena Heights football season with WLEN's Jerry Hayes as the voice of the Saints. All home games will include live video. The 2012 schedule is as follows:
The following is the tentative broadcast schedule:
- Aug. 25: Robert Morris @ SHU, 7 p.m. (radio)
