Wilcoxen Named WHAC Defensive Player of the Week

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan - Sophomore Crystal Wilcoxen was named the Women's Soccer WHAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending September 9th.
The sophomore from New Hudson, Mich. recorded 11 saves while giving up only one goal in 180 minutes to lead SHU to a 2-0 week. SHU, who was ranked 25th in the NAIA going into the week, posted a 2-1 win over St. Xavier (Ill.) and a 1-0 win at Grace (Ind.), who was ranked 31st in the NAIA.
