#25 SHU Women's Soccer Suffers First Loss

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The 25th-ranked Siena Heights women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, dropping a 1-0 decision to Bethel (Ind.) on Wednesday at O'Laughlin Stadium.

Nicole Steller scored the Pilots' goal in the 31th minute with an assist from Pua Hall.

For SHU (4-1-1), goalkeeper Crystal Wilcoxen (New Hudson, Mich./Franklin Road Christian) made four saves. Her counterpart, Mallory Conrad, had eight stops for the win.

The Saints outshot their visitors, 18-10, and had 12 corner kicks to Bethel's two.

Siena Heights will be in action next when it hosts non-conference opponent Marian (Ind.) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
