Baker, Tillotson Guide Saints Women's Volleyball Over Aquinas

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Halie Baker (Canton, Mich./Westland John Glenn) smacked 13 kills while Carly Tillotson (Adrian, Mich./Tecumseh) dished 32 assists as the Siena Heights women's volleyball team swept Aquinas, 3-0, in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Lindsey Adams (Bronson, Mich./Coldwater) added eight kills, Tillotson made eight digs and Mckenzie Wright (Tecumseh, Mich./Tecumseh) and Chelsea Doyle (Jackson, Mich./Michigan Center) came through with five and four total blocks, respectively, for the Saints (16-9, 5-5), who sets by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-18.

A 5-0 SHU run helped the hosts take a commanding two-set lead before opening the third with eight consecutive points.

MacKenzie Kolstad led Aquinas (16-18, 5-5) with 11 kills and Jessica Bredeweg made 12 assists.

Siena Heights will wrap up its regular season on Friday with a 7 p.m. WHAC home match against Madonna.
