Hoopsters League Now Forming

The 19^th annual “Hoopsters League” youth basketball program begins this winter (2013)at Siena Heights University and teams are invited to sign up.  The league has two classes (5^th/6^th grade and 7^th/8^th grade) and separate divisions for girls and boys. All players on a team must be from the same school or town.

The signup deadline for the 5^th/6^th grade league is December 15th and play starts January 6th and runs through February 10th. The 7^th/8^th grade league has a January 27th deadline and play begins February 17th and runs until March 24th.

The cost per team is $475.00 or $825.00 for teams that choose to play two games per date. The cost includes league entry fees, officials, contest help and a team t-shirt. All games will be played using Michigan Athletic Association Middle School rules with the following exception; no full court pressing until the fourth quarter in the 5^th/6^th grade league.
