SHU Men's Golf Takes Third Place at WHAC Jamboree #3

FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Dylan Orr (Britton, Mich./Tecumseh) was the top Siena Heights golfer at the season's third Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Jamboree as he tied for seventh with a five-over-par 77 at Coyote Creek Golf Club. As a team, the SHU men placed third with a score of 314 at the Indiana Tech-hosted event.

Jake Agruda (Adrian, Mich./Madison) and Nicholas Campbell (Britton, Mich./Tecumseh) added six-over 78s to tie for 13th while Joe Lemanski (Walled Lake, Mich./Northern) rounded out the Saints' scoring with an 81 to tie for 24th.

Dan Pollock (Ann Arbor, Mich./Pioneer) and Kyle Hanson (Adrian, Mich./Tecumseh) also competed for Siena Heights. Pollock tied for 31st with an 83 and Hanson shot an 86 to finish 44th.

Davenport won the team event with a 296. It was followed, in order, by Madonna (311), Siena Heights, Cornerstone (316), Aquinas (321), Indiana Tech (321), Northwestern Ohio (328), Concordia (346) and Lourdes, Ohio (376).

Davenport's Jordan Phillips was the medalist with an even-par 72.

The Saints will return to action on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the WHAC Jamboree #4, which will be hosted by Concordia.
