ADRIAN, Mich. – Nate Brown has signed letters of intent to join the Siena Heights men’s volleyball
and men's soccer teams.
Brown is from Tecumseh High School of the Southeastern Conference. He was a midfielder on the soccer pitch and an outside hitter on the volleyball court. He intends to be an Education major at Siena Heights.
Brown plays indoor club soccer at World-Wide in Ann Arbor, Mich. For his high school team, he was an all-state second team honoree and all-region first team performer. The four-year honor roll student was named his district's top soccer player in 2011.
Brown is also active off the field. He is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, the Business Professionals of America and Festival Singers. He is a church member at Ridgeway Nazarene and is a volunteer for the Relay for Life.
“I was excited when I found out that Siena Heights offered men's volleyball as a varsity sport in addition to a quality soccer program,” Brown said. "I wanted to play both sports in college and now have that opportunity at Siena Heights. In addition to playing sports, I learned that Siena Heights has an outstanding education program where I can pursue my degree in secondary education."
