The Siena Heights Men's Basketball Team remained undeafeated with a huge win, 81-53, over #27th ranked Daemen College.
The Saints came out strong and capitalized early, building a 20-7 lead right off the bat. They continued their strong play building a 33-18 halftime lead. In the second half, the Saints once again played hard and outscored Daemen by 13 points, 48-35, for the final margin of 28 points.
The Saints outrebounded Daemen by a margin of 57-33 for the game. They also outshot Daemen 39% to 37% and more importantly 33% to 13% from behind the arc. Leading the way for the Saints was Mark Snipes. Snipes led both teams in points, assists, and steals. Snipes had 16 points,
eight assists, and five steals. Courtney Smith once again had a double-double, his fourth in four games, with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Sean Nowaczyk and Brent Reynolds each added 13 points for the Saints.
With the win, the Saints stay undefeated and move to 4-0. They will return to action on Friday the 20th in Daytona Beach, Florida. The Saints will play in the Embry-Riddle Tournament where they will see Daemen once again. They will also play on Saturday at Embry-Riddle before heading back north. The Saints next home game will be on Wednesday, December 9th when they host Malone at 7:30 pm.
