The Siena Heights Women's Basketball Team went on the road and came away with a win at UM-Dearborn by a score of 70-65.
The Saints found themselves with a comfortable 1st half lead at 34-24 at the break. However, the Wolves fought back and cut the margin in half, but it was too little too late. On the game, the Saints forced 32 turnovers by UM-Dearborn, compared to only 13 for Siena Heights.
Leading the way for the Saints was Brittany Gibson who netted a career high 19 points to lead the team. Nikki Hughes added 15 points, while Tanci Levit added 11 and Erin Cassidy added 10. Cassidy led the team with nine rebounds while Lauren Crockett led the Saints with three assists. Gibson also had four steals to lead the team.
With the win, the Saints move to 15-8 on the season and 4-3 in the WHAC. They close the first half of conference play out in fourth place. They will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Madonna. They will return home on Wednesday night when they host Concordia at 7:30 pm.
