The Siena Heights Men's Basketball Team went on the road and came away with a crushing blow as they lost to Concordia in overtime 72-63.

The Saints had the upper hand in the first half as they found themselves with a 30-25 lead.  However, in the second half, the Saints shot only 29.7% from the floor compared to 45.9% from the Cardinals and found themselves on the wrong side of a 34-29 2nd half game.  In overtime, the Saints again found themselves in trouble, with Concordia taking the game away with a 13-4 run over the five minutes.

Leading the way for the Saints was Logan Mathews with 17 points.  He was followed by three Saints who each netted 12 points, Brent Reynolds, Mark Snipes, and Jake DeRoeck.  DeRoeck led the team in rebounds with nine.  Cory Umfress led the team with five assists while DeRoeck also led the Saints with three steals.

With the loss, the Saints fall to 19-6 overall and 6-3 in the WHAC.  They will return to action on Sunday when they travel to Aquinas.
