Kolasinski Organizes Clinic Speakers for 2018 ABCA Convention

Siena Heights baseball Head Coach and American Baseball Coaches' Association (ABCA) Second Vice President John Kolasinski has recently organized the 22 clinic speakers for the 2018 ABCA Convention, set to take place Jan. 5-7, 2018 at the Indiana Convention Center.

Currently, Kolasinski's duties as Second Vice-President include heading the Coaching Clinic Committee and is responsible for the selection and organization of all clinic sessions for the 2018 ABCA convention. At the upcoming convention, he will be named First Vice-President, heading towards his presidency the following year. Kolasinski is set to take-over the ABCA as the President at the 2019 convention, where he will lead the ABCA until the end of his term in January of 2020.

The 30-year coaching veteran is in his 28th year as an ABCA member. Kolasinski was the National Association of Intercollegiate Association's representative on the Lefty Gomez Committee for two consecutive three-year terms from 2008-2014. He assumed his first executive committee role in 2016 as the Fourth Vice-President, steadily moving through the ranks until his eventual presidental role.

Kolasinski is a two-time NAIA Northeast Regional Coach of the Year, a five-time New England Coach of the Year, a five-time Maine Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, a member of the Husson Hall of Fame and the Robert Ish Smith Award winner. Currently, Kolasinski has racked up a career record of 498-731-2 overall and a 214-470-1 record in his 15 years at Siena Heights.
