GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights dance team finished behind host Aquinas for second place at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) dance championship on Friday with a score of 78.61. Senior Jenna Stahl (Monroe, Mich.) and freshman Logan Richardson (Davison, Mich.) were both named second-team All-WHAC when the awards were announced.
Aquinas tallied a score of 84.96 to win the conference championship. Cleary claimed third place with 61.33 while Concordia (Mich.) tallied a 47.7. Spring Arbor finished with a 44.73 to finish the standings for the competition.
The Saint dancers will return home next week as Siena Heights is the host site for one of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championship Qualifiers on Friday, February 28. The start time of the NAIA qualifier will be announced next week.
