ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights dance team competed in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Northeast Qualifier on Friday in the SHU Fieldhouse. The Saints totaled a 78.95 final score to finish third in the qualifier.
Saint Ambrose sat atop the team standings with a 94.78. Aquinas claimed second with an 88.67. Viterbo was behind SHU in fourth with a 66.24 followed by Cleary with a 62.15. St. Francis (Ill.) scored a 56.39 for sixth place while Concordia (Mich.) scored a 48.54 for seventh. Saint Xavier (47.41) and Spring Arbor (37.33) rounding out the scores for the competition.
The Saints await to see if they qualify for the national championships that take place on March 13-14 in Davenport, Iowa.
