ECAC RELEASE

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) announced the eSports All-Academic recipients for the fall 2019 semester on Monday afternoon. Two members of the Siena Heights eSports program were given the honor. Ashley Shepherd (3.57 GPA) from the Overwatch team and Aaron Bitz (3.62) from the Rocket League and Hearthstone teams.

A total of 156 student-athletes qualified for all-academic selection. To be eligible, each student-athlete had to have a grade-point average of 3.2 or higher.

This is Siena Heights' first year as a member of the ECAC and therefore, the first SHU eSports ECAC All-Academic honorees.
