Esports Weekly Recap: Smash Bros., FIFA, Overwatch, & Madden All Compete; League of Legends to Start This Week

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights Esports teams were back in action this week as several teams competed including Super Smash Bros., FIFA, Overwatch, and Madden. 

 

SMASH BROS.

The Super Smash Bros., team took a loss at the hands of Lycoming College. The team will look to get on the winning side of things with the upcoming matchup against Stonehill College this week.

 

FIFA

Lucas Carvalho remains undefeated in FIFA after a win over his opponent from Finlandia University. He will face an opponent from UAlbany next.

 

HEARTHSTONE

The hearthstone team had a bye week last week and will face Bryant University this week.

 

OVERWATCH

The Saints Overwatch team faced a tough loss to UAlbany last week. The team hopes to restrategize and get a win against Randolph Macon College.

 

MADDEN

There were three losses for SHU in Madden this week. Dylan Thacker was in a close series that went down to the wire all the way into the 4th quarter of game three. Jarrett Thacker earned a win for the Saints in Madden.

 

LEAGUE OF LEGENDS

Due to some technical difficulties, the start of the League of Legends season was pushed back to this Saturday, October 24.
