Lindenwood-Belleville Hosts Football for Game #9
For the ninth game of the 2017 season, the Siena Heights football team will travel to the maroon and silver striped field of the Lindenwood-Belleville Lynx. Kickoff for the Mid-States Football Association Mideast League contest is set for 1 p.m. CST (2 p.m. EST).
The Saints are currently 4-4 overall with a 2-2 MSFA MEL slate after last week 27-21 loss to No. 21 Marian.
The Lynx sit at 0-8 overall, including an 0-4 conference record. LUB fell to top-ranked Saint Francis (Ind.) 70-0 in MSFA MEL action.
All Siena Heights football games will be webcast on the Siena Heights Sports Network, which can be accessed via the Stretch Internet link on WWW.SHUSAINTS.COM. Live stats can be followed online at WWW.SHUSAINTS.COM.
SHSN will provide live video for each Saints' home game. Play-by-play will be called by Chris Renwick with Doug Goodnough providing color commentary. Renwick is in his second year with the Saints broadcast team while Goodnough returns for his second consecutive season.
SHSN and WLEN 103.9 FM have also enjoyed a six-year partnership. All games will be audio-streamed online at WLEN.COM while select games will be broadcasted live on the radio.
Siena Heights will travel to MSFA MEL opponent and Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference rival 16th-ranked Concordia on Saturday, Nov. 11. The regular season finale will begin at 1 p.m.
Currently, the Cardinals are ranked 16th in the NAIA, steadily climbing the polls since they began receiving-votes after week one. CUAA is 8-1 overall and 4-1 in the MSFA MEL, their lone loss coming from NAIA No. 1 Saint Francis (Ind.), 35-18.
