DeMarco Dickerson Named NAIA All-America Honorable Mention

KANSAS CITY -- Siena Heights men's basketball senior guard DeMarco Dickerson was named a National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division II Men's Basketball All-America Honorable Mention when the league office announced the teams this afternoon.

Dickerson finished a team-high 20.1 points per game (4th in WHAC). The Detroit, Michigan native was second on the team with 6.6 rebounds per game while also leading with 3.5 assists per game. Dickerson finished his career with the Saints by joining the 1,000 point club in February and also adding a conference player of the week award during his final campaign. Dickerson added a first-team All-WHAC as well as WHAC All-Academic awards this season.

"DeMarco was one of the most dynamic guards in our league this year," said head coach Joe Pechota. "The growth in his game this year was due to the commitment to improving his game last summer. I'm proud of how he has grown as a player."
