The Siena Heights men's soccer team is set to take on Indiana Tech and Marygrove in two Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference matches. SHU will travel to Indiana Tech for a 7 p.m. contest on Wednesday, followed by a 3 p.m. home contest on Saturday against Marygrove.
Currently, the Saints hold a 5-8-0 record with a 3-4 WHAC slate. In the Homecoming game on Saturday, SHU took down Cornerstone 5-1 with goals from Rahbar Khan, Elmedin Celovic, Brayden Stephan and Brendan Tobias as Andrew Kozan earned the win in goal with three saves.
Leading Siena Heights with six goals and 11 assists is Rahbar Khan. He is followed by Justin Gray with four goals and Matt Lentine with three goals and three assists. SHU goalkeeper Andrew Kozan has made an apperance in eight contests and holds a .841 save percnetage while allowing seven goals and making 37 saves.
The Warriors hold a record of 9-5-0, including a 5-2 conference record, losing only to Lawrence Tech and Northwestern Ohio. Last time SHU and Indiana Tech met, the Saints fell 2-1 with the lone goal coming from Ian Billock.
Marygrove holds a .500 record (7-7-0, 4-4-0 WHAC) to hold sixth place in the WHAC only three points behind Indiana Tech. The Mustangs brought down SHU 5-1 last season as Brent Rodden scored the Saints' only goal.
Next week, Siena Heights will host Rochester in the regular season home contest on Wednesday at 7 p.m., prior to visiting Northwestern Ohio for the regular season finale on Saturday at 3 p.m.
