Upcoming for Saints Soccer: The Saints will start off their season matching up against Indiana Tech at O'Laughlin Stadium after just one scrimmage against Adrian College last Saturday.

Head Coach Andrew Crawford: In his third season on the Saints bench, Crawford has a 13-22-2 overall record and a 7-13-2 conference record at the helm of the Saints as well as overall as a head coach. He was an assistant coach for the Siena Heights women's soccer program for six seasons (2012-2017).
Series Notes: Over the course of 20 games since the year 2005, the Siena Heights Saints has a record of 6-13-1 against Indiana Tech. The Saints are currently on a 7-game losing streak against Indiana Tech. SHU tied with the Warriors 0-0 after double-overtime in 2012.
Wrapping Up 2019: The Saints finished the 2019 season with a 7-10-1 record overall. Siena finished eighth in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) with a 4-6-1 mark. SHU fell to Lourdes on the road 1-0 in their final game of the season as they did not qualify for the WHAC tournament.
Sizing up the Warriors: The Warriors will also open their 2020 season on Saturday against the Saints. Indiana Tech had two games scheduled prior to this Saturday contest, against Trine University on Saturday, September 26th, and Indiana University East on Wednesday, September 30th but were both canceled. The Warriors finished the 2019 season with a 17-5-1 record overall and a 10-0-1 mark in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC), winning both the conference championship and conference tournament championship.
WHAC Preseason Poll: Indiana Tech was selected six spots ahead of Siena Heights in the 2020 WHAC Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Saints finished with 56 points for eighth while the Warriors tallied 135 points receiving six votes for the second place.
Season Openers: The Saints are 3-5-2 in season-opening games the past decade. Five of the last 10 season-opening games have been at home, SHU is 1-3-1 in those contests. The last three losses coming to Goshen (Ind.) in 2014 and 2016, and Huntington (Ind.) last season.
Saint Home Openers: 4-5-1 is the mark for Siena Heights for home openers in the past 10 seasons. During that time, the Saints tallied 17 goals. SHU has not recorded a shutout during a home opener in the past decade.
2019 Award Winners: The men's soccer team had 11 players named NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2019-20 academic year.
Top Returning Saints: Kozan finished last year with four appearances in goal. He made 24 saves and had a record of 1-2 with one shut out. Barros had the second-most goals (five) and points (seven) on the team. One of his goals was the game-winner over Aquinas. Collard appeared in 18 games, starting 11 of them. He scored two goals and earned four points.
Change of Plans: Due to Covid-19, the Saints have had to adapt and because of this, half of their season will be played out in the spring due to many teams in the WHAC deciding to move their entire season to the Spring. The NAIA has also moved all fall championships to the spring 2021 season as well.
