GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The 10th-ranked Siena Heights women's basketball team suffered an 88-41 loss to No. 2-ranked Davenport in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday.
DU's Linnea Brandholm hit a pair of 3-pointers as the host Panthers took their early 11-point lead. Davenport widened the gap to 41-23 by halftime and continued to cruise in the second half.
Brandholm finished with 15 points while Tiesha Stokes contributed 14 points and nine rebounds for DU (8-0, 5-0). Kelly Dineen and Daina Grazulis added 10 points apiece.
As a team, Siena Heights went 16 of 54 from the field (29.6 percent), including 6 of 18 from three-point land (33.3 percent). The Panthers were 32 of 62 (51.6 percent0 and 10 of 20 (50.0 percent), respectively.
Davenport outrebounded SHU, 49-28.
The Saints will return to action on Saturday with a 5:30 p.m. WHAC contest against Concordia.
