SIOUX CITY, Iowa -- Sierra Calhoun scored 22 points and Alexxis Knannlein compiled a double-double worth 15 points and 14 rebounds as the 20th-ranked Siena Heights women's basketball team fell to 13th-ranked College of the Ozarks (Mo.), 88-69, in an NAIA Division II Tournament first-round matchup at the Tyson Events Center on Thursday.

SHU took the game's first lead on a basket by Calhoun, but Ozarks quickly pushed ahead with eight consecutive points.

The Bobcats (24-8) pushed its lead to nine points on several occasions after that before a 6-0 Siena Heights run -- three-pointers by Calhoun and Warfield -- helped the Saints pull within 32-29.

Ozarks then followed with a 7-0 stretch, getting five points from Kayla Kepler, and eventually built a 48-36 halftime lead.

The Saints closed the gap to 67-58 on a Warfield trey with 8:11 remaining in the contest, but once again, the Bobcats responded with a streak -- this time a 5-0 run -- and held their advantage in double-digits the rest of the way.

Kepler led Ozarks with 21 points, six assists and four steals as all five Bobcat starters scored in double-figures. Hannah Wisdom added 18 points while Brandy Uchtman, Maggie McMenamy and Tanner Merriman put in 10 apiece.

McMenamy also had 10 rebounds to record a double-double for Ozarks, which held a 50-38 rebound advantage. The Bobcats also forced SHU into 20 turnovers while committing only 12 of their own.

SHU struggled mightily from three-point land, making 4 of 18 shots (22.2 percent). It also had a tough time from the free-throw line, going 15 of 27 (55.6 percent).
