Women's Basketball Finds Success at Michigan-Dearborn

DEARBORN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team defeated Michigan-Dearborn in a 47-30 conference decision, on Saturday.

The Saints put-up 20 points up in the first quarter and never looked back. 

Jaaliyah Arrington finished with 12 points for SHU, scoring in double-digits in her seventh game straight, 18 total. Ra'shawn Calvert put-up nine points and four assists while April Watson and Lauren Wirth both finished with eight points.

Marisa Suave lead the Wolverines (1-24, 1-17) with 10 points and seven rebounds.

As a team, Siena Heights shot 16-42 (38.1 percent) from the floor while Michigan-Dearborn shot 11-45 (24.4 percent).

Next up, the Saints (16-10, 10-8) will host Aquinas at 6 p.m., on Wednesday. The local television station in Toledo, Buckeye Cable Sports Network, will be filming the game.
