Women's Basketball Ranked #23 in NAIA Postseason Poll

The Siena Heights women's basketball team finished the season with a postseason ranking of No. 23 as announced by the NAIA on Wednesday.

The Saints finished its season with a 24-10 overall record and made the program's fourth appearance at the NAIA DII national tournament in Sioux City, Iowa. At the national tournament, SHU fell to No. 11 Morningside (Iowa) in first round play.

Siena Heights boasts First Team All-American selection, senior, April Watson who was able to lift the Saints to a second place finish in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament. The second place finish was enough to give SHU its automatic bid to the national tournament.

Other WHAC teams in the top 25 rankings are No. 10 Davenport and No. 17 Indiana Tech.
