The Siena Heights women's basketball team will take on Northwestern Ohio and Lawrence Tech in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference action. On Wednesday, the Saints will head to UNOH for a 5:30 p.m. contest and to LTU for a 1 p.m. contest on Saturday.
SHU holds a 4-6 overall record and a 2-3 record in WHAC play. The Racers are currently 4-7 overall and 1-3 in the WHAC while the No. 24 Blue Devils are 8-2 overall and 4-1 in WHAC match-ups.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Leading Siena Heights in scoring is Alyssa Larson, averaging 10.4 points per game to go along with 6.7 rebounds per game. Next for the Saints in scoring is Sharmaine Wills, adding 8.7 points per game and Demi Russell adding 8.3. Wills leads the Saints on the glass with 8.0 rebounds per contest. Azalea Miller has dished out a team high, 3.1 assists per game while Larson has averaged one block per game.
For Northwestern Ohio, Kierra Billingsley leads in scoring with 14.5 points per game and is second in rebounds with 6.3 per game. Latoya Cuthrell had grabbed a team high, 7.3 boards per game for the Racers. Cori Dickson leads UNOH with 4.1 assists per game.
Lawrence Tech is led by Nicole Buckingham averaging 17.5 points per contest. Hayley Walkowski follows with 13.0. Danielle Hanson has led on the boards for LTU with 6.0 a game while Cherilyn Banas has distributed 3.3 assists per game.
The Saints will host Madonna on Saturday, Dec. 16 in a 5:30 p.m. WHAC contest.
