Saints Put up 20 Goals Against Bethel

Mishawaka, Ind.  – The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team won huge against Bethel College this afternoon.

Siena Heights dominated from the start of the game today. SHU opened up in the first minute of the game with a goal by Samantha Pawlowski. Then a minute later, Jenna Sommerville scored her first goal of the game. Sommerville added two more goal with 30 second apart in the 27th minute. Bethel scored with 25 minutes left in the first half to put the score at 4-1. Then Kristin Delclos netted a ball followed by two more goals from Sommerville all within a minute. Delclos and Alexis Nicole both scored a goal later in the half to make it 9-1. Bethel was able to get a goal back with 4 minutes left in the half. Siena was able to score three more times before halftime courtesy of Nicole, Pawlowski, and Sommerville who all netted a ball. The half time score was 12-2.

SHU continued putting up goals when Pawlowski scored again which then was followed up by two Katherine Tapia goals. Natalie Williams added her name to the scoresheet with 17 minutes left in the game when she scored to make the game 16-2. Bethel got their lone goal of half 17 minutes in the half to make the score 16-3. SHU tailed four more goals in the game scored by Williams, Calli David, Sommerville, and Megan Byers.
