SHU Women's XC Takes 13th at Michigan Meet

HILLSDALE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's cross country teams placed 13th among 20 teams at the Michigan Intercollegiate Meet at Hillsdale.

Lyndsay Payne (Perry, Mich./Perry) was the top SHU runner, finishing 38th in 19:39.

Also for the Saints, Beth Heldmeyer (Plymouth, Mich.) took 76th in 20:34 and Harmony Mead (Coldwater, Mich./Coldwater) was 99th in 21:05.

Sarena Anderson (Ida, Mich./Ida), placing 104th in 21:12, and Melanie Glinski (Adrian, Mich./Sand Creek), taking 112th in 21:20, rounded out the scoring for Siena Heights.

Kelly Ferguson (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) added a 134th-place finish in 22:27 and Jasmine Caldwell (Sylvania, Ohio/Southview) took 171st in 24:18.

The Saints will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 15, during the Falcon Invitational at Bowling Green State (Ohio).
