The following was printed on Donovan Campbell's Hall of Fame Plaque.

Donovan Campbell was a tight end for the Saints from 2011 to 2014. He became the first NAIA First Team All-American in Saints history and was named First Team All-MSFA Mideast in each of the Saints’ first three seasons in the league.

Arguably the best offensive player in program history, Campbell’s name is found throughout the Saints’ record books. He was the first—and remains one of only two—players to score three touchdowns in a single game, accomplishing the feat against Grand View in 2013.

At the time of his graduation, Campbell held the following career records:  1st in pass reception yards (1,843), 1st in pass receptions (142), 1st in pass reception touchdowns (16), 1st in average yards per catch (12.98), 1st in receptions per game (4.73), 1st in total points scored (96), 1st in touchdowns scored (16), 2nd in touchdowns responsible for (16), 2nd in all-purpose yards (1,843), and 2nd in all-purpose yards per game (61.4).

A decade later, Campbell still ranks:  3rd in career pass reception yards, 2nd in pass receptions, 2nd in pass reception touchdowns, 7th in average yards per catch, 1st in receptions per game, 10th in touchdowns responsible for, 7th in all-purpose yards, 8th in all-purpose yards per game, 7th in total points scored, and 5th in touchdowns scored.

Campbell also left a significant mark on the Saints’ single-season record books. By the end of his career, he ranked:  1st and 4th in pass reception yards (781 in 2013, 548 in 2014), 1st and 4th in pass receptions (60 in 2013, 41 in both 2014 and 2012), 1st and 2nd in pass reception touchdowns (8 in 2013, 6 in 2012), 1st and 4th in receptions per game (6.00 in 2013, 4.10 in 2014 and 2012), and 1st in touchdowns scored in a season (8 in 2013).

Campbell was also a key member of the 2014 MSFA Mideast Championship team.
