The following was printed on Trevon Claybourne's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Trevon Claybourne was a defensive back for the Saints from 2017 to 2019. Claybourne earned NAIA First Team All-American honors in 2019 and NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors in 2018. He was named First Team All-MSFA Mideast twice during his career.
In 2019, Claybourne was also named a Cliff Harris Award Finalist and an AP Second Team All-American. His 25 career passes defended rank as the fourth-best mark in SHU history. In 2018, he recorded 12 passes defended, the second-best single-season mark in school history, along with four interceptions, which is the fourth-best single-season SHU mark.
Claybourne finished his career having played in 29 games, with 62 unassisted tackles, 40 assisted tackles, and 102 total tackles. He made eight interceptions—the fourth-best mark in SHU history—and had 17 pass breakups.
