Hall of Fame

The following was written on Clarke Hamilton's Hall of Fame Plaque:

Clarke Hamilton manned the linebacker position for the Saints from 2022 to 2025. In 2025, he was honored as the MSFA Mideast Defensive Player of the Year and earned 1st Team All-MSFA Mideast recognition. Over his career, he also collected two 2nd Team All-MSFA Mideast selections, two MSFA Mideast Defensive Player of the Week awards, and one Academic All-MSFA honor.

Hamilton’s impact is firmly etched throughout the Saints record book. His single-season achievements include: 3rd in fumble return yards (65 in 2024), 5th in total tackles (94 in 2025), 1st, 5th, and 6th in unassisted tackles (55 in 2025; 44 in 2023; 42 in 2024), 5th, 6th, and 9th in tackles for loss (14.5 in 2025; 12.0 in 2024; 11.0 in 2023), 4th in yards from tackles for loss (75 in 2025), 4th in sacks (8.0 in 2025), 2nd in yards from sacks (60 in 2025) and 7th in forced fumbles (2 in 2025). 

His career totals are just as impressive, placing him: 1st in tackles for loss (37.5), 2nd in unassisted tackles (144), 3rd in assisted tackles (105), 3rd in yards from tackles for loss (143), 3rd in forced fumbles (4), 3rd in fumble return yards (65), 3rd in fumble returns (1), 3rd in total tackles (249), 4th in yards from sacks (96) and 6th in quarterback sacks (13.0).

Hamilton’s career is distinguished by consistent production, academic recognition, and a lasting presence in the Saints’ defensive record book.
