The following was printed on Matt Kohn's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Matt Kohn has been a part of the Siena Heights Football program from start to finish. He was the Defensive Coordinator from 2011-2015 and served as the assistant head coach in 2014 and 2015 before becoming the second and final head coach in SHU history in 2016 through 2025. In 2014, Kohn was voted the MSFA Mideast Assistant Coach of the Year. During his tenure as the head coach, Kohn has earned the most wins and has the highest winning percentage in SHU Football history with 51 wins and a .543 winning percentage. Kohn has coached nine NAIA All-Americans, 103 NAIA Scholar Athletes, 109 MSFA Mideast All-Conference players, five MSFA Mideast Defensive Player of the Year honorees, 202 Academic MSFA student-athletes, four Cliff Harris Award Finalists, three College Sports Communicators Academic All-Americans, and nine Siena Heights Hall of Fame players.
