Eric Williams II was a standout wide receiver and kick returner for the Saints from 2020 to 2023. He earned First Team All-MSFA Mideast honors once and Second Team All-MSFA Mideast honors three times during his career.
Throughout his time at SHU, Williams made his mark in the single-game, single-season, and career record books.
In 2022, he recorded 176 receiving yards against Lawrence Tech—the second-highest single-game total in program history. In 2021, he hauled in three touchdown receptions against Madonna, becoming one of only two Saints to score three receiving touchdowns in a single game. He also had a career-long 83-yard reception against Indiana Wesleyan in 2023—the third-longest catch in SHU history. His career records (at the time of graduation): 1st in pass reception touchdowns (18), 1st in average yards per catch (16.29), 1st in all-purpose yards (3,652), 1st in all-purpose yards per game (110.7), 1st in kick return yards (1,610), 1st in kick returns (62), 1st in average kick return yards (25.96), 2nd in pass reception yards (1,922), 3rd in touchdowns scored (20), 4th in pass receptions (118), 4th in receptions per game (3.58), 5th in total points scored (120), and 7th in touchdowns responsible for (20).
Williams II Single-Season Records: 1st and 8th in average yards per catch (20.92 – 2023, 14.72 – 2021), 3rd in pass reception touchdowns (7 – 2023), 4th in pass reception yards (753 – 2023), 4th and 8th in all-purpose yards (1,184 – 2023, 991 – 2021), 5th and 7th in all-purpose yards per game (118.4 – 2023, 110.1 – 2021), 7th in touchdowns scored (7 – 2023), 4th, 5th, and 6th in kick return yards (535 – 2021, 439 – 2022, 395 – 2023), 4th, 5th, and 7th in kick returns (19 – 2021, 18 – 2022, 17 – 2023), and 1st, 4th, 8th, and 9th in average yards per kick return (30.12 – 2020, 28.16 – 2021, 24.39 – 2022, 23.24 – 2023).
