The following was written on the 1992-93 Men's Basketball Team's Hall of Fame Plaque.
The 1992–93 Siena Heights University men’s basketball team posted a 19–11 overall record, including a 7–3 mark in WHAC play. The Saints captured a share of the program’s first WHAC Championship before concluding their season in the District 23 playoffs.
During the year, Siena Heights claimed the Maple City Classic title and captured the Milk Jug in the Battle of Adrian, continuing a dominant rivalry stretch that included 15 consecutive Milk Jug victories. The Saints also made a strong showing at the prestigious National Catholic Tournament, winning two of three games, where Brent Tucker earned All-Tournament Team honors.
Ronald Hopkins III, Bryant Tipton, and Tucker were named First Team All-WHAC, with Hopkins III also earning recognition on the WHAC All-Defensive Team. Tucker added NAIA Honorable Mention All-American honors to his résumé.
The roster featured five future Hall of Famers—Derrick Bryant, Jemile Green, Ronald Hopkins III, Jamie Salenbein, and Brent Tucker—and the team was led by Hall of Fame coaches Fred Smith and Al Sandifer.
