The following was written on the 1995-96 Men's Basketball Team's Hall of Fame Plaque.

The 1995–96 Siena Heights men’s basketball team compiled a 21–10 overall record and posted a 7–3 mark in WHAC play. The Saints captured the WHAC Tournament Championship to earn a berth in the NAIA National Championship Tournament, where they were narrowly defeated by three points in the opening round by the tournament’s No. 13 overall seed.

Siena Heights also claimed the Maple City Classic title and finished as runner-up in both the Geneva College Tournament and the prestigious National Catholic Tournament. During the season, the Saints secured the Milk Jug in the Battle of Adrian, continuing a dominant rivalry stretch that included 15 consecutive Milk Jug victories.

Ryan Sanford, Anthony Staffney, and Roger Williams were named First Team All-WHAC. Greg Hartman earned WHAC All-Defensive Team honors, while Hartman and Tim Foster were recognized with Academic All-WHAC honors. Williams also received NAIA Honorable Mention All-American recognition.

The roster featured five future Hall of Famers—Steve Bennett, Byron Johnson, Ryan Sanford, Anthony Staffney, and Roger Williams—and the team was led by Hall of Fame coaches Fred Smith and Al Sandifer.
