The following was written on Derek Bryant's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Derrick Bryant was a guard for the Saints from 1991–92 through 1994–95 and served as a co-captain during the 1994–95 season. He earned First Team All-WHAC honors once during his career and became the 17th player in program history to surpass 1,000 career points, finishing with 1,097. At the time of his graduation, his 349 career assists ranked fifth all-time, while his 133 steals also placed him among the program’s top ten. Bryant knocked down 192 three-point field goals, ranking sixth at the conclusion of his career, and shot 38.4 percent from beyond the arc. He was a member of two WHAC Conference Championship teams, one WHAC Tournament Championship team, and one NAIA National Tournament team.
