Hall of Fame

The following was printed on Ben Ellis' Hall of Fame Plaque:

Ben Ellis competed for the Saints from the 2021–22 season through the 2024–25 season. During his career, Ellis earned First Team All-WHAC honors once and was named Second Team All-WHAC twice. He also excelled academically, receiving Academic All-WHAC recognition four times and earning NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors on four occasions. In addition, Ellis was selected to the WHAC Champions of Character Team once and earned one WHAC Golfer of the Week award.

Over his career, Ellis appeared in 67 rounds for the Saints, posting a career scoring average of 77.0. He recorded eight top-five finishes, including five individual victories, and captured at least one first-place finish in each season he competed.

Ellis holds the second-lowest single-round score in SHU history with a 68 at Stoatin Brae Golf Club in 2023. He also ranks ninth in program history with a round of 70 at Bedford Valley Golf Club in 2022 and 20th with a round of 71 at Legacy Golf Club in 2024. Additionally, Ellis is listed in the Saints’ record books for individual low nine-hole scores, posting the third-best (33) and ninth-best (34) rounds.

As a team contributor, Ellis was part of three of the top four lowest team rounds in program history, including a score of 290 at Eagle Rock Golf Club in 2021 and scores of 291 at Stoatin Brae Golf Club in both 2023 and 2024.
