The following was written on Josh Aburzzo's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Josh Abruzzo was a defender for the Saints from 2013 through 2016 and established himself as one of the most accomplished defensive players in program history. Abruzzo earned MCLA All-American honors three times, receiving First Team recognition twice and Honorable Mention honors once. He also earned Honorable Mention All-WHAC recognition and collected four CCLA honors, including two First Team selections, one Second Team honor, and one Third Team honor. Abruzzo was named Academic All-WHAC once during his career.
At the conclusion of his career, Abruzzo stood as the Saints’ all-time leader in caused turnovers with 73. His 24 caused turnovers during the 2016 season ranked as the second-most in school history at the time, further solidifying his impact on the defensive end.
