The following was written on Spencer Macek's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Spencer Macek played as a midfielder and attacker for the Saints from 2012 through 2016 and was a foundational figure in the early success of Siena Heights men’s lacrosse. Despite battling injuries throughout his career, Macek earned First Team All-WHAC honors once and Second Team All-CCLA honors twice.
At the conclusion of his playing career, Macek stood as the Saints’ all-time leader in goals (105), assists (77), and points (182), while also ranking third in both ground balls (148) and caused turnovers (36). He held multiple single-season records at the time of his graduation, including assists and points, and still shares the program record for man-up goals in a single game with three.
Macek returned to Siena Heights as an assistant coach in 2018 before becoming the second head coach in program history. In two seasons as head coach, he led the Saints to 19 wins and a program-best .625 winning percentage. He joins his coach and mentor, Ed Maloney, in the Saints Hall of Fame.
