The following was printed on Pat Palmer's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Pat Palmer served as the Saints Athletic Director, Men’s Cross Country Coach, and Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Coach from 1979 to 1983. During his tenure in the athletic department, he oversaw the addition of ten sports programs, along with expanding the support staff for athletic training and sports information. After leaving the Athletic Department, Palmer became assistant director and then director of advising until 1989. He later returned to Siena Heights in 1999, serving as director of the leadership program, director of the graduate program, and ultimately vice president of enrollment. Palmer was also a member of the Siena Heights Hall of Fame Committee and played a key role in facilitating the additions of football, bowling, lacrosse, competitive cheer, and competitive dance to the athletic department.
