The following was printed on the 2019 Softball Team's Hall of Fame Plaque:
The Siena Heights Saints Softball - 2019 captured the WHAC Tournament Championship and qualified for the NAIA National Tournament for the final time in program history.
The Saints finished 35-16 overall, recording the second-most wins in school history. After placing third in the regular season standings, the Saints won three consecutive conference tournament games to secure the championship.
The 2019 offense was the most productive in program history, posting a .349 team batting average — the best single-season mark in program history. The team also set program records with 512 hits, 308 RBI, 355 runs scored, 104 doubles, and 33 triples during the season.
On the mound, the pitching staff limited opponents to a .261 batting average and allowed only 200 runs across the season.
Ashley Helmink was named WHAC Player of the Year, while Helmink and Racquel Ward earned First Team All-WHAC honors. Kelsey Uhl and Sam Hill were named Second Team All-WHAC.
The roster included three Hall of Fame members: Helmink, Ward, and Uhl. The team was coached by Hall of Fame head coach Laura Klutsarits along with Hall of Fame softball standouts Becky Martinez and Katie O’Hotzke.
