The following was written on the 2022-23 Women's Basketball Team's Hall of Fame Plaque:
The 2022–23 Women’s Basketball Team earned an at-large berth to the NAIA National Tournament after finishing second in the WHAC regular season standings. The Saints concluded the season with a 24–7 record, averaging 76.2 points per game while allowing 64.1 points per game.
Sha’kiya Parker earned Third Team NAIA All-American honors, while Peyton Banks was recognized as an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Both Banks and Parker were named to the First Team All-WHAC, and Kayla Hinton earned Second Team All-WHAC honors.
The roster featured four SHU Hall of Famers — Peyton Banks, Kayla Hinton, Sha’kiya Parker, and E’Anna Won — and the team was led by Hall of Fame head coach Sue Syljebeck.
