The following was written on Morgan Warfield's Hall of Fame Plaque:
Morgan Warfield was a two-sport student-athlete for the Saints, serving as a pitcher and outfielder for the softball team from 2012–15 and as a guard for the basketball team from 2011–12 through 2014–15.
On the softball diamond, Warfield recorded 99 hits and 51 RBIs over her career, while also earning 13 wins as a pitcher.
On the basketball court, Warfield was the most prolific three-point shooter in SHU women’s basketball history. She earned First Team All-WHAC honors once, Honorable Mention All-WHAC honors once, and was named to the WHAC All-Newcomer Team. Academically, Warfield was a two-time Academic All-WHAC honoree and a two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete in both basketball and softball.
Warfield became just the seventh player in SHU history to surpass the 1,000-point milestone, finishing her career with 1,244 points. She ranked: 7th in career points (1,244), 6th in career field goals attempted (1,156), 1st in career three-point field goals made (338), 1st in career three-point field goals attempted (933), and 2nd in career three-point field goal percentage (36.23%).
Warfield still holds the top three single-season records for both three-point field goals made — 106 (2012–13), 88 (2013–14), and 84 (2014–15) — and three-point field goals attempted — 267 (2014–15), 260 (2012–13), and 259 (2013–14). Her 40.8% three-point field goal percentage in both 2011–12 and 2012–13 ranked as the third-highest single-season mark in SHU history at the time.
Warfield also holds the single-game record for three-point field goals made (eight against Concordia during the 2013–14 season). She was a key member of the first three consecutive NAIA National Tournament–qualifying teams in SHU women’s basketball history.
