The following was written on Marissa Cirino's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Marissa Cirino competed as a midfielder for the Saints during the 2017 and 2018 seasons and again from 2020 through 2022, establishing herself as one of the most accomplished players in program history. Cirino is the only Saint to earn NAIA First Team All-American honors, an achievement she accomplished twice. She was named WHAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2021 and WHAC Midfielder of the Year in 2022. Throughout her career, she earned First Team All-WHAC honors twice and Second Team All-WHAC honors twice.
Cirino also excelled academically, earning three Academic All-WHAC honors and three NAIA Scholar-Athlete recognitions. She was named College Sports Communicators First Team Academic All-American once and earned CSC Academic All-District honors three times.
Her name appears throughout the Siena Heights record books, as she holds career records for goals (209), assists (107), points (316), caused turnovers (90), and draw controls (261), while ranking second in career ground balls (212). Cirino also owns numerous top-ten single-season marks, including sixth and seventh in goals (51 in 2022, 46 in 2017); first, second, third, and eighth in assists (33 in 2018, 28 in 2022, 22 in 2017, and 17 in 2021); second, third, and seventh in points (79 in 2022, 78 in 2018, and 68 in 2017); fourth, sixth, and seventh in ground balls (60 in 2022, 58 in 2017, and 55 in 2018); first in caused turnovers (40 in 2022); and first in draw controls (129 in 2022).
Cirino also holds multiple single-game school records, including goals in a game (10 vs. Indiana Tech in 2021), points in a game (12 vs. Ave Maria in 2020), draw controls (16 vs. Cleary in 2022), and free-position goals (8 vs. Indiana Tech in 2021).
