The following was written on the 2008 Women's Soccer Team's Hall of Fame Plaque.
The 2008 Siena Heights Women’s Soccer Team had a standout season, winning the WHAC Tournament Championship and earning a spot in the NAIA National Tournament. The Saints finished the year with a strong 11-6-4 overall record.
Several players received national and conference recognition. Haley Mancini and Allison Septer were named NAIA Honorable Mention All-Americans. Haley Mancini, Bridgette Scott, and Allison Septer earned First Team All-WHAC honors, while Lindsey Mancini was named to the Second Team. Gemma Cowperthwaite and Ashley Wilmoth received Honorable Mention All-WHAC accolades.
This talented roster featured five future Siena Heights Hall of Famers: Katelyn Hawarny, Haley Mancini, Lindsey Mancini, Amanda Marinello, and Allison Septer. The team was led by Hall of Fame Head Coach Scott Oliver and Hall of Fame standout Nikki Romano, adding to the legacy of one of the program’s most decorated eras.
