The following was written on the 2010 Women's Soccer Team's Hall of Fame Plaque.
The 2010 Siena Heights Women’s Soccer Team captured the WHAC Regular Season Championship and advanced to the WHAC Tournament Final, where they narrowly fell in a heartbreaker decided by penalty kicks. The Saints concluded an impressive season with an 11-6-4 overall record.
The team earned numerous individual accolades. Haley Mancini was named an NAIA Third Team All-American and took home WHAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Katelyn Hawarny and Lindsey Mancini were recognized as NAIA Honorable Mention All-Americans.
Four Saints earned First Team All-WHAC honors: Haley Mancini, Katelyn Hawarny, Lindsey Mancini, and Alessia Vagnini. Mackenzy Hickner was named to the Second Team All-WHAC, and Hannah Ulrich received Honorable Mention All-WHAC recognition.
This exceptional roster included seven future Siena Heights Hall of Famers: Daniela Dedvukaj, Katelyn Hawarny, Mackenzy Hickner, Haley Mancini, Lindsey Mancini, Hannah Ulrich, and Alessia Vagnini. The team was guided by Hall of Fame Head Coach Scott Oliver, solidifying their legacy as one of the program’s elite squads.
