Mackenzy Hickner was a versatile athlete for the Saints, playing both midfielder and forward on the soccer team from 2009 to 2012 and competing as a midfielder in women’s lacrosse during the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

On the soccer field, Hickner earned Second Team All-WHAC honors once and was a two-time Honorable Mention All-WHAC selection. She was also recognized twice as an Academic All-WHAC honoree and once as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete. Hickner played a crucial role on the 2010 and 2011 WHAC Championship Teams, appearing in 80 games, scoring 19 goals, and recording 14 assists.

In women’s lacrosse, Hickner continued to excel both athletically and academically, earning Academic All-WHAC honors and becoming the first Saints women’s lacrosse player to receive the WHAC Champions of Character award. Her 48 ground balls in 2013 rank 10th best in single-season school history, while her 26 caused turnovers that same year stand as the 6th highest mark.
