The following was printed on Nikki Romano's Hall of Fame Plaque.
Nikki Romano played two seasons as a central defender for the Saints from 2005 to 2006. In 2006, she was honored as an NAIA Honorable Mention All-American. Romano also earned First Team All-WHAC honors once and Second Team All-WHAC honors once during her career.
A key contributor to the 2006 WHAC Tournament Championship team, Romano started and played in 42 games, scoring 1 goal and recording 3 assists.
After graduating, Nikki continued her commitment to the program by serving as a graduate assistant coach, helping lead the 2008 team to the national tournament and into the SHU Hall of Fame.
