Amber Berrien was one of the most accomplished sprinters in Siena Heights University history, excelling at the national level in both the 200-meter and 400-meter events. She earned three NAIA All-American honors during her career, highlighted by a runner-up finish in the 400-meter dash at the 2002–03 NAIA Indoor National Championships, where she posted a time of 57.65 seconds.

Berrien also earned All-American recognition at the 2002 NAIA Outdoor National Championships, placing sixth in the 200-meter dash and eighth in the 400-meter dash. She qualified for numerous additional NAIA Indoor and Outdoor National Championship events, consistently competing among the nation’s top sprinters. At the conference level, Berrien was a dominant force, capturing five WHAC championships across the 200-meter and 400-meter events. Her sustained success at both the conference and national levels established her as one of the premier sprint athletes in the history of the Saints’ program.
